Tommie Lee’s daughter, Samaria Williams, welcomed a baby girl, Nacari, over the weekend. The teen expressed gratitude to her mom for being present during her labor and delivery experience.
“Thankful for my mother and her being there to support me with my firstborn,” Samaria shared in her Instagram Stories. Samaria also shared a photo that showed her daughter’s hand along with a few of the gifts the newborn received from loved ones.
Samaria’s gratitude to her mom came as a surprise to some. It was just a few months ago that Samaria declared herself as one willing to endure her labor and delivery experience alone after her mom encouraged abortion over birth. Tommie Lee admitted that she indeed encouraged her daughter to have an abortion in a revealing video.

“I would rather a teen live their life,” Tommie shared. “Because I was a teen and I had a baby young,” the celebrity mom explained. “I didn’t have anybody to tell me, ‘This is what you’re supposed to do.’ I didn’t have none (sic) of that. So, ultimately, my decision to my child, that I think so highly of and I love, is that I don’t want her to ever face the things that I faced. I don’t want her to ever go through that.”
Samaria ultimately decided to distance herself from her mom during the pregnancy but apparently reunited just in time for Tommie to see her daughter give birth.
