Tommie Lee of Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta (LHHATL) is ready to talk about her daughter Samaria’s pregnancy. The Reality TV star addressed rumors of her trying to convince her oldest daughter to undergo an abortion during a recent Instagram Live session.
“This is a moment of transparency for me,” Tommie told her social media fans. “I don’t agree with the fact of addressing family matters, or really any matters on social media,” the former LHHATL star said. “For one thing, I know that the people that you’re talking to, they really don’t care. They don’t care and at the end of the day, it’s humorous for them.”
Tommie Lee preferred privacy but, nevertheless, decided to address her daughter’s claim of not receiving support from her mom during her expectancy during the session.
“Anybody that knows me, they know how I am and how hard I go for my family,” Lee told her fans. The celebrity mom went on to confirm her desire for her daughter to undergo an abortion instead of carrying the baby to term in her video.

No i didn’t plan this but life happens! I made my choice to keep my gift from god and live not caring about what anybody else think i am beyond grateful and happy for the people who stuck around to let me know they got me cause only god know it take a village to raise one child ! My life is only going up from here i just have one extra life coming with me and I’m beyond happy for it. And for all the young pregnant woman or woman with child let me be your inspiration! It’s okay you will do just fine.💕💕
“The reason why I feel so strongly about that opinion for females to have a say-so about their bodies is because this is something that you are never going to be able to undo,” Tommie Lee said. “You’re never going to be able to undo having a child,” the celebrity mom continued.
“You’re not given a manuscript on how to parent,” Tommie said in further defense of her opinion. “You’re not given a manuscript on how to handle x, y, and z. There’s no book out, when you’re in that labor and delivery room, it’s no book out to show you when you leave [the labor and delivery room] how to address x, y, and z.”
The former LHHATL star went on to say, “I would rather a teen live their life. Because I was a teen and I had a baby young. And I didn’t have nobody. I didn’t have anybody to tell me, ‘This is what you’re supposed to do.’ I didn’t have none of that. So, ultimately, my decision to my child, that I think so highly of and I love, is that I don’t want her to ever face the things that I faced. I don’t want her to ever go through that.”
Samaria shared the news of her pregnancy a few weeks ago. The teen was sure to tell her social media fans that she fully intends to carry her child to term despite her mom allegedly trying to trick her into having an abortion.
“I want you to be in your dorm room,” Tommie Lee said during her Instagram Live. “I want you to complete high school,” the celebrity mom told her daughter. “I want you to have wild parties. I want you to live, live, live out these years of your life because you never get them back. You never get these years back. You’ll never get your 20s back. You’re never going to be able to be a teenager again, ever.”
Tommie Lee did not hold back about her pain about Samaria going the way of becoming a teen mother. “As a mom, I’m disappointed,” the celebrity mom admitted. “I’m hurt,” Tommie Lee added.
“I went through a time where I was so depressed. I wasn’t eating. I wasn’t posting. I had endorsements and I wasn’t posting what I was supposed to be posting because I’m in my head about somebody sleeping with my daughter [and] my daughter having sex.”
Samaria is Tommie Lee’s oldest child. The former LHHATL star also has a younger daughter named Havali. Stay tuned for more celebrity mom news!
