Keshia Knight Pulliam’s ex, Ed Hartwell, will have to pay back more than $34,000 to his ex-wife for their daughter, Ella Grace Hartwell. A judge ruled in Keshia’s favor during a recent court hearing.
According to BOSSIP,
“A family court judge has found Ed Hartwell liable for deliberately failing to pay thousands in child support to his daughter with ex-wife Keshia Knight-Pulliam and withholding income information.”
Keshia Knight Pulliam asked a judge to put Ed Hartwell in jail over unpaid child support back in April. The veteran actress accused her ex-husband of intentionally failing to provide financial support for their daughter by hiding his assets.

Ella loves clothes & dresses herself!! She is the only child I know that has to try on her clothes in the store. Even when I shop online she is over my shoulder pointing to what she likes and letting me know what she doesn’t like. Some days she wants to wear dresses & others she wants sweatpants. I encourage her to use her voice and trust her intuition… this little spirit is definitely an old soul!! I hope you enjoy @thepeachesandlola as much as we enjoyed creating this line. You can shop Ella’s favorite looks now at PeachesAndLola.com !!!• • • **** link to peachesandlola.com is in my bio****
Ed responded to the accusation by telling the court that he was caring for two other children currently residing with him. The judge, however, saw things Keshia’s way and ordered Hartwell to pay more than $6,500 by this week’s end along with more than $3,000 per month in child support going forward. Ed was also ordered to pay an additional $1,000 per month on top of his regular child support payments to satisfy the $34,000 worth of outstanding debt.
Ed Hartwell and Keshia Knight Pulliam were married for approximately two years before he filed for divorce. Keshia was heavily pregnant at the time her husband requested marriage dissolution.

My reason WHY!! Why we must fight, organize, be strategic, mobilize and ensure this is a world that will value and protect our little ones. She deserves to grow up in a world, to quote Dr. Martin Luther King, “where she is judged by the content of her character and not by the color of her skin”. However, in the words of Malcom X, “You can't separate peace from freedom because no one can be at peace unless he has his freedom”. Most importantly, black mothers should NOT have to fear that our children will be killed when they walk out the door simply for being black in America!! #BlackLivesMatter
