Keshia Knight Pulliam says her ex-husband, Ed Hartwell, owes more than $30,000 in child support for their daughter, Ella Grace Hartwell. The actress is now petitioning the courts to put her former spouse in jail for the delinquency.
According to BOSSIP,
“Keshia Knight Pulliam accused her former spouse Ed Hartwell of being a deadbeat dad and failing to provide for their child to the tune of almost $32,000 – and now she wants him behind bars.
The actress and reality star said Hartwell has chronically failed to support their daughter, and she’s had enough and wants him fined $5,000 and jailed for three weeks or until he settles his debt to her.”
The public drama between Keshia Knight Pulliam and Ed Hartwell began in July 2016 when he shocked her with a divorce petition. Ed’s filing for marriage dissolution came days after Keshia announced her expectancy of their first child and sent the Cosby actress on a whirlwind.
Keshia welcomed her daughter on January 23, 2017. The celebrity mom explained the significance of her baby girl’s name months before her labor and delivery experience.
“I knew Ella was going to be my first baby girl’s first name,” Keshia revealed. “Then in the midst of all of this is when she’s earned her middle name, Grace,” the actress shared. “When I tell you through all of this the grace of God has so been with us and has covered us and protected us — she’s been my saving grace to get through it.”
