Nina Westbrook, the wife of NBA star Russell Westbrook of the Houston Rockets, recently launched a children’s clothing line called MiniBrook.
Nina Westbrook’s clothing line features stylish, unisex children’s clothes such as jackets, rompers, and dresses that are “comfortable, versatile, and responsibly crafted.” Plus, with prices that range from $25 at the low-end to around $60 at the high-end, MiniBrook‘s collection is as affordable as it is fashionable. “Every piece is stylish, comfortable, and made for mixing and matching,” said Nina in an interview with Romper.com. “Kids love how cozy everything is and parents appreciate that the collection is stylish and environmentally friendly,” she continued. “Our goal is to create pieces that you can quickly grab and go, so that less time is wasted deciding (or fighting over) what your kids will wear every morning.”
MiniBrook focuses on sustainability and charity, with “GOT-certified fabrics” that are “milled and dyed” in Los Angeles, California, and a portion of their proceeds going towards non-profit organizations that aid struggling youth each quarter. MiniBrook’s first donation goes to Nina’s equally generous husband’s Why Not? Foundation, and in the future, Nina looks to donate more of MiniBrook’s proceeds to other organizations such as the “I Have A Dream” Foundation, Childhelp, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Nina Westbrook revealed that MiniBrook was inspired by her and Russell’s three children: 3-year-old Noah and 1-year-old twins Jordyn and Skye Westbrook. As a mother, Nina sought to create a product for children that is not only fashionable, but functional and sustainable as well, and she succeeded with MiniBrook. “MiniBrook is a combination of two passions — our fierce family that’s full of personality and ‘Mighty Minis’ everywhere who are making an impact on the world we call home,” says Nina. “In essence, Noah, Skye, and Jordyn are the MiniBrooks and it’s a business name that honors the joy they bring to our lives.”
