Brandy and her daughter, Sy’rai Smith, have teamed up for a very cool collaboration. The veteran recording artist brought her daughter to sing a verse on her new song, ‘High Heels,’ which is from Brandy’s new album, B7.

Sy’rai takes over the introduction and first verse of ‘High Heels.’ The young adult fits right into the vibe of the song, which is perfect for any day or night.
“This is definitely a bop,” one YouTube fan exclaimed after hearing the song. “Go, Sy’rai,” the supporter continued. “Such a wonderful voice. Following your mother yet being yourself. Bran, you are doing a great job with your baby girl.” Another social media follower wrote, “‘High Heels’ is a beautiful love letter. Vocally, Brandy and Sy’Rai sound absolutely amazing together.”
Sy’rai signaled her desire to delve into the music industry with her cover of Aaliyah’s ‘At Your Best’ a few months back. Brandy was overjoyed to tell her fans about her daughter’s venture into show business as a recording artist.
“It’s my job to teach her everything I know about this business and about singing,” Brandy shared during a recent interview with The Talk. “But at the same time, [I want to] give her the space to find her own sound, find her own path, and just be here in the wings whenever she needs me,” the celebrity mom continued.
“But I’m just so proud of her,” Brandy gushed. “She’s so brave for embracing her music and her artistry. I can’t wait to see how far she goes with it.”
