Mariah Carey is making the most of quarantine season with her kids. The celebrity mom tells Vogue: Britain how she and her twins, Monroe and Moroccan, are moving along.
“We’ve been spending the days doing little ‘at home’ live concerts to help those in need,” Mariah tells the magazine. “I’ve also been busy writing songs, working on new material, finishing up my memoir, and listening to Club Quarantine after dark,” the legendary singer says.
Mariah Carey and her kids have been quite the public service announcers during these unprecedented times. It was just a few weeks ago that the ‘Hero’ singer and her children washed their hands to Mariah Carey’s ‘Fantasy.’ The three even sang the lyrics to the song while washing for at least 20 seconds. Mariah and her kids also joined the #IStayHomeFor initiative, which is meant to encourage non-essential workers to remain indoors with the exception of going out for the necessities.
“Keeping my spirits up and making sure my kids are happy and thriving [is the most challenging part of self-isolation],” Mariah admits to Vogue: Britain. Carey goes on to tell the magazine that she has learned “how important it is to take the time to tell your loved ones how much you care about them because tomorrow is not promised.”
Monroe and Moroccan are Mariah Carey’s kids with her ex-husband, Nick Cannon. Stay tuned for more celebrity mom news!
