"They Are Here To Witness This Great Historical Moment"

Madonna continues to take a stand against racial injustice. The celebrity mom and her kids recently joined a Black Lives Matter protest in London.

“We marched from Parliament to 10 Downing street,” Madonna told her Instagram fans this past weekend. “It was an honor for all of us to be there,” the celebrity mom exclaimed. “[It is] important for my kids to know that they are here to witness this great historical moment. Not just in America but all around the world.”

Madonna’s son, David, gave a tribute to the late George Floyd last week that came in the form of dancing to one of Michael Jackson’s sons. Madonna also spoke about the 46-year-old’s murder at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer.

“Watching this cop suffocate George Floyd with his knee on his neck, handcuffed and helpless, crying for his life with his face in the street is the most sickening, heartbreaking thing I’ve seen in a long time,” the ‘Like A Prayer’ singer shared with her social media fans. “This Officer knew he was being filmed and murdered him with arrogance and pride,” Madonna continued.

“This has to stop,” the celebrity mom declared. “Until we can overcome Racism in America— no one should be allowed to carry a gun. Most of all cops. God Bless you, George Floyd. I’m so sorry for you and your family. And all the senseless killings that have gone before you.”

Madonna is mom to six children. Stay tuned for more celebrity parent news!
