NBA star Carmelo Anthony still cares for his estranged wife La La Anthony and proved it on Mother’s Day with a heartfelt Instagram post.
Carmelo Anthony celebrated Mother’s Day (May 11) by sharing a picture of himself and La La when she was pregnant with their 13-year-old son Kiyan Anthony. In the caption, Carmelo wrote an emotional message praising La La. “To an Incredibly STRONG Woman. Thank You for being the anchor to our family!!! You are such an amazing Mother. We LOVE You!! We are Blessed to share everyday with you, especially one this special ❤️Happy MOTHERS DAY @lala.”
La La Anthony responded to Carmelo’s post; thanking him for giving her the gift of motherhood. “I keep looking at this pic. 🤣🤣🤦🏽♀️u took it back Mel🤦🏽♀️🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️So many memories. U gave me the greatest gift of being a mom. I’m forever grateful. We created a masterpiece in Kiyan together. Love you forever ❤️,” wrote La La.
Carmelo Anthony also celebrated his own mother Mary Anthony and even his mother-in-law, La La’s mother Carmen Surillo on Mother’s Day. For his mother, Carmelo shared a picture of himself and Mary Anthony and captioned it: “I couldn’t ask for a better MOM!! Even in your flaws, I see Perfection!! Happy Mother’s Day Ma I Love You 💕.” For his mother-in-law, Carmelo shared a picture with Carmen Surillo and wrote in the caption: “Of all the gifts that life has to offer, A loving Mother is the greatest of them all!!! La La Anthony herself took to Instagram to celebrate Mother’s Day. She shared a short video of herself and Kiyan singing along to “Timeless” by A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. In the caption, La La reminded mothers to enjoy their time with their kids on Mother’s Day.
