Angela Simmons is open to dating post COVID-19. The Growing Up Hip Hop (GUHH) star tells Page Six exclusively that her son, Sutton Tennyson Jr., would definitely need to approve of her potential mate.

“I want to date,” Angela shares. “I’m open to it,” she continues. “The guy would have to have certain qualities. He has to definitely be a family man, God-fearing, funny, established, it’s a long list. My son will definitely have to give his approval. I don’t want anybody around my son if he doesn’t like him.”

There was speculation that Angela Simmons and Romeo Miller would develop an intimate relationship because of certain scenes from Growing Up Hip Hop. There was even a rumor that Angela told Romeo to take on the role of a father figure to her son, which was a claim that she absolutely refuted.

“I would never ask him or anyone to step up for my son,” Angela said during a recent interview with the ladies of The Real. “We have an amazing family [with] my dad [and] my brothers. I wouldn’t do that,” Angela added.
