All That has become a super hit for Nickelodeon. The zany sketch comedy features many wacky characters for kids by kids. As the show has been extended for an additional ten episodes, people are wanting to get an in-depth look at some of the young actors behind the wackiness. And, Lex Lumpkin is one of those rising stars that is making waves on this hilarious new show.
Originally from Indianapolis, IN, Lumpkin is a multi-talented actor that does it all. In addition to acting, he is a writer and pianist who started his career at the age of 10, when he played the role of Stuart in the Indianapolis Repertory Theater’s production of Stuart Little. After his first production, the talented young man went on to portray the Duke of York in Richard III and Travis in A Raisin in the Sun.
Lumpkin made his transition from theater to television as he landed his first national commercial playing the role of his favorite football star’s nemesis in an AT&T Direct TV commercial series. Lumpkin’s big break came when he was selected from a nationwide search to attend a two-week intensive improve and comedy training camp by Nickelodeon. Fast-forward to today, and he is the newest funny man on All That.
Some of the characters that Lumpkin portrays on the hit show include: Nick Cannon, Jay-Z, Michael Strahan, President Barack Obama, and Denzel Washington, and most recently, Lumpkin has given it a go at portraying Travis Scott.
