Tristan Thompson apparently wants more kids with Khloe Kardashian and fans are not having it. Several social media critics blasted the celebrity father for implying that his and Khloe’s daughter, True Thompson, is an only child who would do well with a sibling.
The controversy stemmed from Thursday’s episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians (KUWTK). Khloe and Tristan discussed the notion of giving their daughter a younger sibling when the subject of keeping a few of True’s baby items came up.
“What happens if we have another girl,” Tristan asked Khloe. “We have to buy it all over again,” the celebrity father added.
“Who is having another girl with you,” Khloe Kardashian asked. “Listen, I’m just saying, True does need a sibling,” Tristan responded. Khloe admitted that the interaction was awkward, to say the least. The KUWTK star is, after all, still settling into the notion of co-parenting with her daughter’s father.
What was even more awkward about the situation to some viewers was the notion of Tristan discussing family expansion with Khloe without mentioning his son, Prince Thompson, whom he shares with Jordan Craig.
“Tristan Thompson really be (sic) forgetting he has a whole son,” one critic tweeted after the episode. “And he’s just having a grand old time quarantining with @khloekardashian like his son doesn’t exist,” another fan of the show wrote online. “How does someone make that decision? To pick one kid over the other, @RealTristan13?”
Tristan Thompson was ordered to pay Jordan Craig $40,000 per month in child support for their son last year. Still, the celebrity father is rarely seen with his son, and many are convinced that Tristan and Khloe are quarantined together with their daughter after the celebrity father recently shared a picture of himself with his little one.
Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson celebrated True Thompson’s second birthday this past Sunday (April 12). Prince Thompson turns 4-years-old this year. Stay tuned for more Tristan Thompson family news!
