Todd Tucker, husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star Kandi Burruss, is having a blast at home with his son, Ace Wells Tucker. The celebrity father was recently filmed while having fun in the family’s indoor swimming pool.
Todd and Ace had an all-out pool party, which included basketball in the water. Ace showed off his skills when given the ball by dad. The youngster made a basket on-camera at one point that impressed his dad to no end. “Like Daddy like son,” Todd exclaimed on Instagram. “Swimming pool buckets,” the celebrity father said.
Many fans were overwhelmed by Todd and Kandi’s indoor pool. “Pool in the house,” one of Todd’s social media followers exclaimed. Another Instagram subscriber wrote, “You are so lucky to have an indoor pool. I have 8 grandkids and they would LOVE this!” The indoor swimming pool is pretty cool, isn’t it?
Todd and Kandi have been working through a few challenges in their marriage these past few months. She scored a gig on The Chi that was in line with her goals to pursue acting. He was fully supportive of the role but had a problem with her scheduling additional engagements that took her away from her family.
Todd and Kandi’s issues took the center stage during Sunday night’s episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Ace begins to cry in the episode because he misses his mom’s physical presence. Kandi can only telecommute with her and Todd’s son because she is filming for The Chi in Chicago.
“I want my mommy,” Ace tells his dad. Todd comforts his son after ending the conversation with Kandi. The celebrity father did not, however, let the moment pass without addressing the issue of Kandi’s absence upon her return home. Todd told Kandi that she needed to prioritize her family more right before she left to host a luncheon for Roc Nation.
