Kandi Burruss’ daughter is rocking a short afro after cutting off all of her hair. The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star took to Instagram on Tuesday (April 6) to share the motivation behind her oldest daughter’s decision to do the big chop.

“So two weeks ago my baby girl @rileyburruss decided to cut all her hair off,” Kandi told her social media fans. “Her hair was damaged and she wanted to cut it short and start all over,” the RHOA star said. “I like her Afro,” Burruss declared.
Riley often rocks wigs or braids. In fact, it was just the other week that the teen re-entered the Instagram scene with a new set of braids. “Did you miss me,” Riley asked her social media followers. Of course, they did!

Riley Burruss is gearing up for her collegiate career at New York University (NYU). The teen announced her acceptance to the prestigious university back in December.

“It was the only school I really even wanted to go to,” Riley told her YouTube fans in a vlog. “I only thought of applying to other schools as back up plans,” the teen continued. “[NYU] was the only school in my mind. Just to see that I got in, and it’s for sure … I’m very excited.”
