We can always count on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to make us smile and laugh all at the same time. And of course, during this global pandemic, we need all of the those moments rolled into one and more. Recently, The Rock gave us what was lacking as he teaches his daughter to wash her hands in an adorable, heartwarming video.
The recent Instagram post shows the Jungle Cruise star with soon-to-be 2-year-old Tiana Gia. Johnson ditched Happy Birthday and the new Baby Shark theme song to teach proper hand-washing techniques and settled on an oldie but goodie using a familiar verse from “Your Welcome,” which was sung by his character in the 2016 Disney hit, Moana.
The star captioned the image, “Our sheltering at home, pre daddy’s shower ritual 👶🏽🎶,” he began his caption on the post. “Before my showers now, Baby Tia (mama mia) demands I sing the rap portion of my song ‘You’re Welcome’ from MOANA, while I wash her hands.”
We are definitely thankful and could not love The Rock any more! And of course, we unquestionably agree with his changed lyrics too, “coronavirus has gotta go.”
He wrapped up his caption hilariously with, “And gotta love how at the start of this vid, baby Tia is like, ‘just shut your mouth and sing daddy’ 😂.”
The Rock is a very proud #dadgirl. Last month, for International Women’s Day, he honored all three of his daughters with an Instagram tribute, praising them individually for the young women that they are and will become. His three daughters, Alexandra, 18, Jasmine Lia, 4, and Tiana 2, are truly the apples of their daddy’s eye.
