Social media is not here for Boosie’s comments about Dwyane Wade’s daughter, Zaya Wade. Critics were quick to shed light on the rapper’s colorful past after Boosie deemed it necessary to express his transphobic thoughts.

“I gotta say something about this sh*t, bro,” Boosie began his rant about Zaya, which he shared with his Instagram fans earlier this week. “Dwyane Wade, you [have] gone too f*cking far, dawg,” Boosie said. “That is a male. A 12-year-old. At 12, they don’t even know what they next meal gon’ be. They don’t have sh*t figured out yet. He might meet a woman, anything, at 16 and fall in love with her. But his d*ck [will] be gone—how he gon’—like, bruh, you going too far.”

Dwyane Wade told Ellen DeGeneres that his daughter, born a boy, told him that she identified as a girl. Zaya also picked out her name.

“She is our leader,” Dwyane said during a recent interview with Good Morning America. “Zaya started doing more research,” the celebrity father explained. “She was the one that sat down with us as a family and said, ‘Hey I don’t think I’m gay.’ And she went down the list and said, ‘This is how I identify myself — I identify myself as a young lady. I think I’m a straight trans because I like boys.'”

Boosie may not fully understand Zaya’s journey. Social media fans, however, refuse to let such ignorance go underneath the radar. “Y’all need to get the facts straight first,” Zaire Wade, Zaya’s older brother, wrote in response to Boosie’s rant. Another Boosie critic delved into the recording artist’s life.

“How about worry about your children with 6 different baby mothers and let D Wade raise his child,” the critic said. “You had children young and you knew exactly what you were doing, so D Wade’s child knows exactly who SHE is,” the fan exclaimed. “Zaya said she knew ever since she was 3 and at the age of 12 it will not change. Nowhere in anybody’s statement was a comment of cutting anything off of his child! Ignorance and being Ill-informed on your part.”
