You remember Young Dylan, the rising Hip-Hop artist who captured the country’s heart with his amazing talent? Well, the young rising star will be exercising his acting chops in the new Tyler Perry Nickelodeon show, Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan.

This new live-action comedy series will follow a family whose world is turned upside down when their nephew, Young Dylan, (Dylan Gilmer), an aspiring hip-hop star, moves in when his grandmother Viola realizes that raising her grandson is too much for her to take on. Deciding to send Dylan to live with her son indefinitely sets the perfect tone for hijinks to ensue when two worlds collide and the family has to try and get on the same beat.

Airing on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT, in addition to Dylan Gilmer, the show stars Carl Anthony Payne, Mieko Hillman, Celina Smith, Hero Hunter, Aloma Wright and Jet Miller. Michelle Sneed will serve as Executive Producer along with Will Areu and Mark E. Swinton who serve as Producers of the series. Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan is filmed at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia.

Just in case you missed it, Young Dylan recently performed his new song, “1234” on the sketch comedy series, All That. Check it out and let us know what you think. Will you be watching the new Nickelodeon show?
