Dwyane Wade’s oldest son, Zaire Wade, is in full defense of his little brother, Zion Wade, who has been the target of critics as of late. Zaire took to Instagram on Tuesday (December 3) to make a strong declaration of support.
“We didn’t ask for y’all opinion,” Zaire shared along with a candid of him and Zion together. In the picture, Zion stands beside his older brother who is seated in a chair fit for a king.
“Facts,” wrote Gabrielle Union in response to her stepson’s Instagram post. “Dopeness at its finest,” WNBA star Candace Parker shared. “I mess with this generation,” the star athlete wrote. Dwyane Wade also approved of his oldest son’s message. The former NBA player was one of the thousands who liked the post.
It was just a few days ago that Dwyane came to his 12-year-old son’s defense after critics deemed it acceptable to scrutinize Zion Wade’s attire in a Thanksgiving family photo. The tween was wearing fake nails and a crop top in the candid, which led to some taking jabs at Zion’s gender identity.
I’ve seen some post-thanksgiving hate on social about my family photo. Stupidity is apart of this world we live in—so i get it. But here’s the thing—I’ve been chosen to lead my family not y’all. So we will continue to be us and support each other with pride, love & a smile! ✌🏾
