Cardi B is heated! The Hustlers star recently went on Instagram live to drag Access Hollywood for allegedly using her baby girl, Kulture Cephus, as clickbait.
The drama surrounds an interview that Cardi gave Access while promoting her latest ventures. The celebrity was reportedly asked about her life as a mom and highly sought-after entertainer when Cardi delved into why she chooses to spend more time with her daughter instead of hiring a nanny.
“They asked me a question about me doing different ventures and how have things changed when it comes to motherhood,” Cardi said of the line of questioning during her most recent interview with Access. “So I explained to them,” the rapper added. “I gave them, like, a two-minute answer. And I said, ‘Things have changed because a lot of people expect me to do so many things. A lot of people expect me to be in the studio and then I gotta do other s–t.'”
“So, it’s like, I’m sorry if I take time out of my day that I can be five hours in the studio but I spend it with my kid. Because, yes, I can have someone babysit my f—ing kid. Yes, I can have someone babysit my kid. But it’s a wack feeling when your kid [is] not even trying to f–k with you and [is] trying to call someone else ‘Mommy.’ That’s why you’ve got to spend time with your kid.”
Somehow, Cardi’s explanation for why she turns down certain gigs to spend time with Kulture morphed into an accusation of Kulture calling someone else “Mom” due to Cardi’s absence. “These motha—-ers chopped what I said up,” Cardi told her Instagram fans.
“These n—as chopped what I said off, the whole explanation [of] why I spend time with my kid [and] why I put my kid first. They chop it off, and then they’re going to name it on YouTube, ‘Cardi B admits that Kulture calls somebody else Mommy’ due to work.’ B-tch, that’s not what the f-ck I said,” the celebrity mom exclaimed. “Don’t use my motha–ing kid for clickbait, b-tch!”
