Gabrielle Union and her baby, Kaavia James Union Wade, want you to know that they are indeed judging you. The America’s Got Talent judge recently took her Instagram fans behind-the-scenes of a typical day backstage with the Glam team and baby Kaavia on the AGT set.
“We are judging you,” Union captioned underneath one post that showed the celebrity judge holding her daughter who was giving the camera the look. “She’s getting so big,” one fan said of Kaavia James. “She looks like her daddy,” another social media follower noted.
Gabrielle Union has a lot on her plate as a judge on AGT and leading actor in L.A.’s Finest. The celebrity mom recently told Us Weekly that she does not have mom guilt about her busy schedule that sometimes has her away from Kaavia for several hours throughout the day.
“I don’t have mom guilt, and I’ll tell you why,” the actress began. “Being able to have the job that I love and the baby that I dreamed of [is great],” Gabrielle explained. “I’m a better mom because I’m able to go away and do what I love. Even if I failed miserably, I’m following my dreams,” she shared.
Union went on to say, “I would be less of a mother if I didn’t set out every day to try to make my dreams come true and other people’s dreams come true. So I don’t have guilt.”
Who wants to grapple with the notion of guilt when they have a beautiful and loving baby to come home to every night? “[Kaavia’s] just amazing,” Gabrielle told Us during her most recent interview. “I’m so glad that me and my husband and our family just kept trying and plugging away and hoping and praying,” the actress added. “She’s all of our dreams come true.”
