Mother’s Day should be about daughters, too, according to Blue Ivy Carter. The little one interrupted her grandmother’s Mother’s Day greeting to declare the importance of daughters.
Tina Lawson took to her social media page along with Kelly Rowland to send well wishes to all of the “beautiful mothers.” Blue Ivy heard her grandmother’s words and decided to chime in with a few of her own. “And don’t forget about the beautiful daughters, which I am,” the little one said. Yes, Blue! We see you!
It appears that Blue Ivy Carter may be setting the stage to follow in her mother’s footsteps as a performer. It was just a few weeks ago that the youngster’s rendition of ‘Lift Every Voice And Sing’ took the masses by surprise. Beyonce included the clip of Blue singing in her Homecoming album, which accompanied the Homecoming documentary released by Netflix last month.
Blue told her mom that she wanted to sing the selection again after completing the song. “It feels good,” the youngster revealed. Could we be witnessing the rise of the next great performer in the Carter lineage? Maybe so.
Tina Lawson certainly has not ruled out the possibility of Blue Ivy Carter going into show business. The celebrity grandmother admitted that Blue “hasn’t decided yet” if the industry is right for her. Lawson recently admitted, though, that Blue is multi-talented, which is a crucial quality in entertainment. “Whatever she wants to do, she will definitely be able to do it because she’s good at a lot of things,” Tina shared.
