Nipsey Hussle‘s sister, Samantha Smith, wants legal guardianship of the late rapper’s daughter, Emani Asghedom.

According to court documents, Smith has filed a petition to become the guardian of Nipsey’s  10-year-old daughter because she feels that Emani’s mother is unable to care for her.

Smith says she has “always been a presence in Emani’s life and along with the rest of Emani’s paternal family has assisted in her care.”

Not much is known about Emani’s mother except that she is a woman who goes by the name of Tanisha Asghedom on Facebook and Chyna Hussle on Instagram. She also dated the rapper for several years before welcoming their daughter in 201.1.

Prior to his untimely death on March 31st, Emani was cared for by her dad.
