Real Housewives of Potomac star, Ashley Darby, and her husband, Michael Darby, are babymooning in Hawaii. The expectant star shared pictures from her trip with Instagram fans earlier this month.
“Vitamin D for Baby D and me,” Ashley shared along with a picture of her having fun in the sun. The RHOP star also uploaded a candid of her with her husband at Alaska Falls State Park. “Great day hiking with my sweet Mickey to the Akaka Falls,” Ashley shared online. “Not the easiest hike at 7 months pregnant, but the encouragement from my husband was the most reassuring feeling ever,” the expectant star concluded.
Mike has given Ashley a lot of emotional support during their babymoon trip. The RHOP star delved into how her husband helped her overcome a fear of water during their most recent trip to Hawaii.
“I used to be so terrified of the water, after a near-drowning incident as a kid,” Ashley explained. “Though I’ve worked to overcome that fear to a tolerable degree, Michael has helped and encouraged me to embrace the ocean. I’m so thankful to have a partner who helps me to grow and become stronger.”
Michael and Ashley Darby announced their expectancy a few weeks ago. “I’m so excited,” Ashley told PEOPLE exclusively. “When I used to hear people talk about having a child and the miracle of life inside you, I know that sounds great, but then to actually experience it? It’s the most all-encompassing feeling ever. I never imagined I’d feel this much love … it’s the pinnacle!”
