Beyonce’s Coachella performance was off the hook last year. Now, fans get to see the behind-the-scenes action that led up to the superstar’s smash-hit show. Netflix presents Homecoming: A Film By Beyonce, which debuts on April 17th, and Blue Ivy Carter and the twins are in the trailer for the documentary.
In the video, Blue Ivy can be seen training with her mom. Blue appears to be leading her mom as well as some other dancers in the clip as she whips her hair while sitting in a chair.
Many Beyhive fans believed that they were seeing the next generation of Carter greatness after watching just a few seconds of Blue dance with confidence. “Blue Ivy is training,” one fan exclaimed. “Watch out Pop girls! Blue Ivy is the youngest to ever chart on Billboard!”
Along with Blue, 22-month-old twins Rumi and Sir also make a brief appearance.
Beyonce delved into her successful Coachella performance during an interview with Vogue last year. The ‘Formation’ singer reflected on her ability to incorporate the black national anthem into her performance.
“I swear I felt pure joy shining down on us,” Bey said of the moment in which she educated the crowd on her heritage. “I know that most of the young people on the stage and in the audience did not know the history of the black national anthem before Coachella. But they understood the feeling it gave them. It was a celebration of all the people who sacrificed more than we could ever imagine, who moved the world forward so that it could welcome a woman of color to headline such a festival.”
