Congratulations to Egypt Sherrod and husband DJ Mike Jackson on the arrival of their baby girl, Harper Skye. The HGTV star took to Instagram to share the news of her family’s expansion.
“We thought we had everything, then you arrived. Now we are complete! Welcome to the world, #HarperSkye,” Egypt shared online. “Our little angel arrived at 1:06 am this morning at 6lbs 13 ounces,” the celebrity mom told her social media fans.
“Thank you for all your prayers and well wishes,” Sherrod said. “She is the very first Aquarian in our sphere. [Does] anyone know anything about Aquarian’s? She has been smiling and peaceful since birth. If that’s any indication, I am sure we will enjoy this journey together.”
Egypt Sherrod and DJ Mike Jackson celebrated the impending birth of their daughter at a baby shower fit for a princess last December. The celebrity parents were surrounded by family members and friends as they prepared for the arrival of baby Harper.
“I can’t express how grateful I am to all the family and friends who traveled from far and wide to surprise Mike and I,” Egypt shared after the party convened. “I simply cannot explain how much love was in the room,” she concluded.
