Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are getting ready for a battle in court over custody of their six kids. Legal documents obtained by E! News show a court date set for Summer 2019.
According to the media source,
“Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s ongoing custody battle is heading to court. … According to court documents obtained by E! News, their trial will begin on Dec. 4. Retired Judge John W. Odenkirk was appointed to be the judge in their custody trial through June 30, 2019.”
Some thought that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were separated but coming to terms with respect to the kids. Inside stories recently revealed, however, that Jolie and Pitt were nowhere near finding common ground. In fact, Angelina Jolie’s camp accused Brad Pitt of not providing “meaningful” child support. Such accusation was nothing short of a celebrity stunt, according to Pitt’s camp.
“Brad fulfills his commitments,” an inside source revealed. “This happened because Brad became fed up and said he wanted to start the formal process of divorce again and filed papers to do that. [This is] nothing more than a publicity stunt.”
Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in September 2016. Stay tuned to see how things turn out in court for the former celebrity couple and their kids.
