HoopSmiths: J.R. and Chris Learn Teamwork tells the inside story of J.R. and his brother, Chris, who have learned much from the sport of basketball. Both J.R. and Chris want to make it big in the NBA in the story. The youngsters, however, realize that they cannot get there alone. It will take a lot of effort and teamwork to achieve their dreams. We wonder how things will turn out?
J.R. Smith reflected on the advice that his father gave him regarding basketball during an after-game interview on the court last year. “My dad always told me, shoot everytime you get it,” J.R. said. “That’s always been his motto since I was a kid. He said, your shot is better than a turnover so don’t turn the ball over, just shoot it.”
J.R. and Jewel Smith have been enjoying life as parents of four children. Denver, the couple’s youngest child, was born a few months ago. Jewel decided to wait for a few weeks before sharing the first picture of her daughter online.
“Let me officially introduce our daughter Denver A. B. Smith to the world,” Jewel exclaimed. “It’s not that I’m not proud,” she said of her reason for waiting to share pictures of her daughter online. “But it’s okay to keep some things to yourself for a while,” Jewel explained. We’re just happy that Mrs. Smith decided to upload candid of baby Denver. Isn’t she cute?
