What is better than enjoying Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Adventures? Taking in the show with your family. Monica Brown did just that this past weekend.
The celebrity mom had her husband, Shannon Brown, and kids Rodney Jr., Romelo, and Laiyah with her as she took in the coolness that was the show. Monica even alluded to the notion of being more excited about the adventures presented than her daughter. “Why was I excited like a child to be picked from the crowd to participate,” she asked her Instagram fans. “My bell ringing skills are subpar, to say the least, but it was for sure comical,” Monica added.
Another instance of pure comedy came during a family shot in which Monica, Shannon, and the kids all gave the camera no-nonsense expressions. “If someone says something slick to you, and your whole crew not looking like this… Throw em’ all away,” Monica mused. “Even baby girl got the ‘What you say? We don’t play’ face.” We see you, Laiyah!
Motherhood has changed Monica in all of the right ways. “The very best parts of me are in this photo,” the singer shared online. “Each of them teach me something daily and they’re my reminders that God never fails,” Monica added. “He is all knowing, and he knew the old me could only be made brand new through THEM.”
