JD McCray’s star continues to rise as the voice of young Simba in Jon Favreau’s The Lion King will join the cast and crew of the upcoming Universal Studios comedy, Little.
The comedy, executively produced by Black-ish star Marsai Marti, who will also star in the film, centers on a woman who gets the opportunity to relive her carefree life as her younger self when adulthood becomes just a bit much.
Tina Gordon, who scripted Drumline, will direct, and Girls Trip screenwriter Tracy Oliver will also join the project in addition to Fresh Off the Boat and New Girl’s Camilla Blackett. Issa Rae and Regina Hall will also join the cast.
