What do you do when your good friend throws you the ultimate baby shower? Show appreciation by eating all of the fabulous munchies, of course. Chrissy Teigen took full advantage of the bash that Kim Kardashian gave in her unborn son’s honor this past weekend.
Shake Shack catered the event and there were an array of cakes for partygoers to enjoy. “I wonder if Kim ate any cake,” one social media fan pondered. There were certainly enough pastries to go around as Kim and her family had at least five cakes crafted just for baby Legend’s party. “Loving the cake that says ‘You’re A LEGEND'” one Instagram fan said. We like that one, too!
Kim Kardashian was definitely the impromptu videographer of the evening. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star caught all of the special moments at the bash, including an instance of Chrissy chowing down on a cheesecake while sitting on the counter. “Chrissy ate that entire cake, you guys,” Kim told her fans after getting Teigen’s attention. Chrissy, of course, simply laughed and continued eating.
The expectant star took to Instagram to express appreciation for this past weekend’s festivities. “I am crazy super anti-baby showers for myself,” Chrissy explained. “Opening gifts in front of people makes me want to die. Receiving gifts makes me very uncomfortable because I feel blessed to the max already and I really hate writing thank you cards with my poor penmanship.”
However, “People I love trick me with dinner invites and they happen. Thank you to all friends on both coasts, for knowing me exactly. A mellow night of dinner. Cake. And love. That is all I could ever want for a perfect night. Thank you insanely generous @krisjenner for opening up your home and getting me every carrot cake in the city and @jenatkinhair for knowing exactly how to lure me out of my home and exactly how to make me happy. ALL LOVE!”
