Cardi B is reportedly pregnant and expecting her little one to arrive this summer.
According to TMZ,
“Cardi B’s set to pop out her baby this summer but, unlike Beyonce, she’s not letting pregnancy stop her from performing at Coachella.
Sources close to Cardi B tell TMZ … the rapper’s due the first week of July and will be close to 7 months pregnant with Offset’s kiddo when she takes the stage next month at Coachella.
It’s unclear if she’ll dress to cover up what will most likely be a noticeable baby bump by the time she takes the stage.”
Cardi B was noticeably modest during the iHeartRadio Music Awards last week. The recording artist wore a dress that was rather loose-fitting and definitely covered her stomach. Many fans could not get past Cardi’s attire long enough to appreciate the iHeartRadio Music award that she won.
Cardi will definitely teach her child about the family’s rich Afro-Caribbean heritage if she is, indeed, pregnant. The rapper told CR Fashion Book last month that she never tries to place her African ancestry in a box.
“One thing that always bothers me is that people know so little about my culture,” she shared. “We are Caribbean people. And a lot of people be attacking me because they feel like I don’t be saying that I’m black. Some people want to decide if you’re black or not, depending on your skin complexion, because they don’t understand Caribbean people or our culture. I feel like people need to understand or get a passport and travel. I don’t got to tell you that I’m black. I expect you to know it.”
