“You guys should tune in because of Junie; strictly for Junie. She’s just the life of the party. [There’s] never a dull moment,” Teyana says. Iman also chimes in by telling potential viewers, “The audience is sure to get just everyday life. It’s not as star-studded as you think. It’s so important to be a positive representation of black love.”
Teyana goes on to tell her soon-to-be fans that love, in general, is the show’s theme. “Not even just black love; all love,” the celebrity mom shares. “No matter what kind of love it is – young love, puppy love, married love – no matter what it is,” Taylor further delves. “It is to inspire love, period. There’s nothing more special than showing young folk that you can be in love.”
Of course, Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert have their disagreements like any other normal couple. The two, however, strive to quickly overcome obstacles to keep the good times rolling. “You can’t carry a bad energy around her,” the celebrity parents say of their daughter, Iman “Junie Bug” Tayla Shumpert, Jr.
