CHRISSY TEIGEN AND JOHN LEGEND BUMP AROUND ART OF ELYSIUM EVENT

"Honestly, We Are Trying To Do Important Things Here"

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend stopped the show this past weekend at the Art of Elysium present John Legend’s HEAVEN at Barker Hangar event in Los Angeles. The couple knew that they would be in the spotlight all night and, as such, dressed for the occasion.

John Legend was decked out in formal wear that matched his wife’s outfit quite well. Chrissy’s gown was custom-made to perfection at the event as it promoted a light-hearted and feathery appeal. The design and cut of the dress served as the perfect accent to Chrissy’s baby bump, which served to hold the outfit in place.

“Honestly we are trying to do important things here,” Chrissy shared online just hours before hitting the red carpet with her husband. Teigen was channeling into her modeling spirit in a home clip when her husband burst through the doors and completely annihilated the segment. “Hi,” John said to his wife. Chrissy told her hubby, “You ruined it” in reference to the highly intense moment that was reduced to fun levels the moment that John walked through the door. “Y’all are so real and so cute,” one fan wrote. “I love it.” So do we!

What we didn’t love so much was the recent backlash that Chrissy Teigen faced from the parent patrol online. Teigen shared a picture of her preparing to take on the slide with her daughter, Luna, when a few trolls deemed it the right time to inform the celebrity mom of the dangers of joint sliding. It seems that there is a possibility of an adult breaking a child’s leg if the two take on a baby slide together. Has anyone else heard of this alleged epidemic? Sarcasm intended.

One of Chrissy’s fans put it best when they advised the critics to tend to their affairs instead of scrutinizing Chrissy’s life. “Some of you women need a life of your own,” the follower wrote. “I’m just saying…. first we can’t kiss our kids on the lips and now slides aren’t safe??? Well d*mn.” Darn, indeed!

In any case, Chrissy Teigen is not worried about a few mommy shamers online. “Weeeee are very skeptical of slides right now,” she mused. We can’t wait to see how much more Chrissy roars when she and John Legend welcome their second child later this year!
