Tyrese is clearing the air after enduring a very public child custody matter and coming out as the victor. The celebrity father took to Instagram on Monday to tell fans that his wife, Samantha Lee Gibson, is not pregnant and that he is not “going broke” as he previously stated.
“Let’s get this all off the table,” Tyrese began. “A few weeks backs while stressed and, of course, as I embarrassingly spoke on this … I was advised to use some psych meds called Rexulti,” he shared. “I did some really stupid things publicly and privately that will take me a while to recover from.”
The first thing that Tyrese squashed was the notion of he and his wife expecting a son. “To clear the air, ’cause I’m an open book and got nothing to hide, my wife is NOT pregnant and never was,” he wrote on Instagram. “Those meds had me on one. I owe no one any money on any level,” Tyrese added. “Matter of fact, I just took care of both of my lawyers, fully; 108K for my lawyer and almost 20K for Shayla’s lawyer.”
The FURIOUS star apologized for his behavior a few weeks back and said, “I know the jokes have been flying and will continue to fly, and I’m OK with it. I’m a big boy with thick skin.”
