She’s back! Heavenly Joy, daughter of music producer Rodney Jerkins and powerhouse singer Joy Enriquez, is back to deliver more of her incredible vocals.
Heavenly took center stage while rocking out with The Dream Center’s Discipleship Choir earlier this week. The 7-year-old bolted out high-noted adlibs to the song, ‘Heaven Help Us All’ as the choir backed her up. “From rehearsal right to the stage,” Rodney exclaimed on Instagram. “@heavenlyjoysings rocking out with @ladreamcenter Discipleship Choir! #HeavenHelpUsAll The world needs this right now!”
This isn’t the first time that Heavenly has delivered an on-time tune to soothe a tumultuous time. Many may remember when Heavenly sang ‘This Little Light Of Mine’ for Kathie Lee Gifford after her husband, Frank Gifford, passed away. “What a blessing you are,” Kathie told little Heavenly as she shed tears of gratitude for the little one’s gift.

Now, little Heavenly has returned to once again shine the light of joy in a society in need of a bit of inspiration. “The world needs this song right now,” Rodney said of ‘Heaven Help Us All.’ The proud father went on to tell his social media fans that the tune was “a beautiful message from a beautiful messenger!” Indeed.
Rodney told ET Online last year that he believed his daughter had all the making to be as great as the late Michael Jackson. “I think she’s the female version of what Michael Jackson was,” he explained. “People will sometimes compare her to say, ‘Oh, this is like Shirley Temple all over again.’ I think it is a little bit of that, but I think it’s more of Michael. Not just because I worked with Michael, but just even studying how he began so young and how he was able to evolve into the superstar he became — it’s a lot of little things that she does that she doesn’t even know she does that I’m able to see, and it’s Michael-ish. It’s interesting.”
Will Heavenly Joy be the Michael Jackson of her time? We’ll have to wait and see. For now, we’ll just continue to enjoy the bright light and ray of hope that she brings. Check out Heavenly’s collaboration on her mom’s song, ‘SHINE,’ below!
