Can’t communicate with your ex well enough to co-parent the kids? There’s an app for that! Jesse Williams and ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee were reportedly ordered to use the app, Our Family Wizard for dates and other things concerning their kids, Sadie and Maceo.
According to court documents obtained by InTouch Weekly, “The parents shall use Our Family Wizard for all communications regarding the children’s health, education, and welfare.” Emergencies are the only time that Jesse and Aryn can have direct communication with one another.
It was just the other week that Jesse Williams and his ex-wife settled on a custody plan concerning their kids. The actor initially sought sole custody of Sadie and Maceo but ultimately settled on joint legal custody of the kids. Jesse and Aryn’s agreement also stipulated that neither of the parties could introduce potential love interests to the kids without being in a relationship for at least six months.
Aryn has accused Jesse of being quite selfish when it comes to the kids. Not only has the actor placed his schedule above theirs, according to his ex-wife, but Jesse missed an important father-daughter event at his daughter’s school for which Aryn was forced to “awkwardly” substitute.
Hopefully, Our Family Wizard helps the former couple prioritize and organize better regarding the children. The app claims to be “so effective at keeping children out of the middle, courts in nearly all 50 states have ordered OFW.” Is anyone else surprised that an app was created to help moms and dads better co-parent? No, okay.
