Mike Epps and ex-wife Mechelle Epps have finalized the terms of their divorce and everyone comes out as a sort of winner. TMZ has the breakdown of the celebrity parents’ agreement.
According to the media source, “Mike walks away with 10 — count them — 10 properties in Indiana. He keeps his 2016 Mercedes, his 2015 Jeep Cherokee, ’79 Caddy and 2011 Suzuki chopper.” Mechelle also has a bit of fortune with several cars, including a 2014 Bentley and 2013 Mercedes, signed over to her along with a monthly spousal support check of $25,000. Mike has also agreed to pay $15,000 in child support to his ex-wife in addition to covering the bill for their daughters’ private schooling.
The monthly amount of spousal support that Mechelle will receive is a quarter of what she initially requested. The former wife of Mike Epps petitioned the courts for a whopping $109,000 per month in alimony payments. Mechelle cited the children’s private school bill, which totals around $72,000 annually, along with other expenses as her reasoning for asking for the amount. She still, in a way, received her request as Mike is charged to foot the bill for the girls’ education in addition to paying spousal and child support to Mechelle.
Mike Epps and Mechelle were married for ten years before announcing their separation and plans to divorce a few months back. The former celebrity couple has two kids, Maddie and Mariah, together.
