Too cute! Sanya Richards-Ross and her husband, Aaron Ross, are doting parents after welcoming their son two weeks ago. The couple share first pictures of their newborn with PEOPLE.
“This is, by far, the most gratifying moment of my life,” Sanya tells the media source. “He gives me greater purpose and a reason to smile every day, and I just want to be the best mom to him that I can be!”
Sanya and Aaron Ross announced the arrival of their son, Aaron Jermaine Ross II, earlier this month. “I’ve never been more in love with my husband than I am right now,” the Olympian told her social media fans days before giving birth. “We’ve nested together, preparing for the arrival of our first born, and it has been more incredible than I could have ever imagined,” Sanya added. Little Aaron was born a healthy 7 lbs., 13 oz. on August 12, 2017. He arrived at 3:50 a.m.
“People tell you all the time about the joys of motherhood, but it’s more than I ever anticipated,” Sanya tells PEOPLE. “They instantly change you. Your heart grows and your love knows no bounds.”
