The truth always has a way of rising to the top. Shar Jackson stands on this hope with regard to recent accusations in which Zoey 101 actor Chris Massey alleged that she abused his 2-year-old daughter, Mariah, which he shares with Shar’s daughter, Cassie Jackson.
“These statements are lies and they are disgusting,” Shar tells Life & Style magazine exclusively. “My family is my world. I would never hurt a single one of them. My granddaughter Mariah is my world and I am hers.”
Chris accused Shar Jackson of cutting little Mariah across the face several weeks ago. The actor went so far as to seek a restraining order against the celebrity grandmother, which the courts granted. Cassie responded to her ex-boyfriend’s accusations after media got wind of Chris’ restraining order against Shar.
“I told myself this wasn’t worth my time, but it is now a legal issue,” the actress told her fans. “My mother has never laid a finger on my child and my ex is a despicable man for slandering her in a futile attempt to save face after his years of documented abuse.”
Shar agreed with her daughter and tells Life & Style, “This whole thing has been hard for my entire family. To have someone make false accusations against me has been painful. The truth will come out.”
