Recently, on July 12, in Santa Monica, CA, the Black-ish actress attended the Chanel dinner celebrating Lucia Pica and the Travel Diary Makeup Collection at Capo.
Dressed in casual denim with a white ruffled-neck blouse, the teen looked polished and elegant as ever, of course, sporting a Chanel bag to tie the look all together.
If you remember, Shahidi recently announced that she will attend Harvard, majoring in sociology and African-American studies, but first the teen will, like Malia Obama, take a gap year before starting school. During that time, she will film her Black-ish spinoff, College-ish and continuing her charity work as she has vowed to help improve the lives of low-income students.
It doesn’t seem like Shahidi will have any lag-time during her year deferment. It seems on the contrary, that she will be busier than ever.
