Congratulations to Xosha Roquemore and Lakeith Stanfield who welcomed a child earlier this month. The Mindy Project star announced the arrival of her little one on Twitter before deleting the message a few weeks back.
“Mom,” Xosha wrote online. The celebrity mom erased the tweet before the masses got wind of the newest family addition’s arrival.

Fans got to see the crown of the baby’s head on Tuesday. Xosha was promoting Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s book on feminism while holding her child. The new mom took a picture of the book and, coincidentally, the head and back of her and Lakeith’s newborn. How cute!
Xosha Roquemore is most famous for her role on The Mindy Project. The actress discussed her gig with OK! magazine a few years back.
“She’s so cool and I read her book, and I was a fan of the show before being on it,” Xosha said of working with Mindy Kaling onset. “She’s just a dope person, so young and so successful,” Xosha added. “I think she’s hilarious. I do have to resist the urge to be around her all the time, because she’s the boss and she has a lot on her plate.”
