Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a triplet? In the new NBC primetime television series, This Is Us, the show answers that question, with a twist.
In the series, the story follows fraternal twins, Kate and Kevin, along with their adopted brother Randall. Kate and Kevin were originally a part of a triplet pregnancy; however, their biological brother was stillborn. Their parents, Jack and Rebecca, decide to adopt another newborn, a black child abandoned on the same day she gave birth. Episodes weave in between past and present, taking place all over the country in Los Angeles, New Jersey and NYC.
Nine-year-old Lonnie Chavis, plays the role of young Randall in the series and is no stranger to the small and big screens alike. He has been seen in everything from Nickelodeon’s Bella and the Bulldogs, Elam Brothers Live to several shorts: We Home, Tortoise, and What Showers Bring. Currently, Chavis is working on two additional projects: Magic Camp and White Famous. Faithe Herman and Eris Baker also join Chavis on the show, making them quite possibly the most adorable trio on primetime t.v.
