Congratulations to Chantel Christie, daughter of reality star Jackie Christie, who gave birth to a child on Sunday. The new mom took to Instagram to celebrate her little one’s birth shortly after giving birth.
“My Angel on Earth,” Chantel wrote. “Better than anything I ever could’ve imagined. You are perfection personified. So thankful God chose me to be your Mommy. I love you, Stinky.”
Chantel announced her expectancy a few months back in the cutest form. The reality star uploaded a picture of a small carved pumpkin alongside a larger pumpkin to imply the impending birth of her child. Many fans caught on to what Chantel was saying and congratulated her on her family’s expansion.
Chantel grew in notoriety in 2012 after sharing her mother’s dark secrets with Basketball Wives L.A. co-star Laura Govan. Chantel revealed her mother’s yearning for fame and told Laura that the Jackie preferred her younger daughter’s skin tone over eldest daughter Takari Lee’s beauty. Chantel later apologized for her actions in a series of tweets.
“I was in a bad place in MY life. Was it right? No,” Chantel shared. “Was it ‘all lies’? No. Was it 4 “publicity”? No. Did I kno where Laura was coming from? NO. Do I regret it? I regret airing my personal life out 2 sm1 who, I now feel, had malicious intent.”
