Congratulations to Emmanuel Sanders and his wife, Gabriella, who welcomed their daughter on Tuesday. Zoie Sanders made her grand entrance during the afternoon hours. Emmanuel was by his wife’s side throughout the experience.
“The name is ZOIE… ZOIE Sanders,” the NFL star posted alongside a picture of him holding his newborn daughter. All members of the Sanders family bore smiles with the exception of Zoie who was asleep in the candid. “Christmas came early for us this year,” Gabriella wrote.
Rumor of Gabriella filing for divorce from her husband spread just hours before the celebrity mom gave birth to her and Emmanuel’s daughter. According to TMZ,
“Gabriella Sanders — who is due this month — filed divorce docs in Texas at the end of October, a few days before the couple’s 3 year wedding anniversary.
According to the court docs, GS says ‘the marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities,’ but doesn’t say exactly what caused the split.”
Gabriella was reportedly granted a temporary restraining order from Emmanuel upon filing for marriage dissolution. She also asked the courts for child support and a “disproportionate share” of assets while placing blame for the divorce on Emmanuel’s shoulders.
Could it be that the birth of Zoie has led to the couple reconciling their differences moving towards harmonious years? Possibly so. Gabriella and Emmanuel have two kids together. Princeton is the couple’s son who celebrated his second birthday in February.
