It was a family night out at Cirque du Soleil’s Toruk: The First Flight on Saturday as Violet Nash and Christina Milian spent the evening with their extended family members.
“It’s Family Fun Night at #Toruk @staplescenterla,” Violet’s caption read underneath one of the pictures. The little one struck a pose while standing next to her mom. Violet rocked a black outfit while Christina livened things up with a bit of color.
The celebrity mom and daughter also took pictures with cast members of the show. Violet was all smiles while standing next to one of the Avatar actors. Zoe Saldana was also in attendance at Saturday’s Los Angeles showing.

Toruk: The First Flight is inspired by James Cameron’s Avatar. The film was a box office smash hit that resonated with millions. Although the movie was a science fiction motion picture, many saw the imagery and storyline as one that addressed the importance of unity.
Coming together is definitely a notion that both Zoe Saldana and Christina Milian can relate to as mothers in the industry. It was just a few months ago that Saldana, who starred in the famed Avatar film, discussed her need for babysitting services for which Hollywood refused to pay.
“The tone changed in the negotiations. I was starting to feel that I was…difficult,” she said of the experience. Zoe went on to tell Allure readers that studio executives wanted to have her work 15-hour days without providing additional compensation for child care. “The fact that there are women working in these studios—and they’re the ones [enforcing] these man-made rules. When are we going to learn to stick together,” she asked.
Christina Milian would definitely agree as she has said on several occasions that her successful career in show business sometimes comes at the high price of losing quality time spent with her daughter. Violet is Milian’s only child with her ex-husband Terius Nash, a.k.a. The-Dream. The youngster celebrated her sixth birthday earlier this year.
