Torion Sellers, Michael Rainey Jr., Diallo Thompson, and Isaiah John attended a meet and greet event for Barber Shop 3: The Next Cut at the Microsoft Store in Los Angeles on April 5, 2016. The young actors, who star in the upcoming film, are hoping to shed light on a few social issues while delivering laughs in the latest installment of the Barbershop franchise.
In the film, Calvin (played by Ice Cube) and the others are determined to help their community after an onslaught of gang violence ensues and threatens the safety of customers as well as staff at the barbershop. Workers from the neighborhood beauty shop partner with Calvin and the barbershop crew to spread awareness about the deterioration taking place in the comnunity in addition to bringing about change in a big way.
