Rapper Common and his daughter, Omoye, were two of many attendees at the premiere of New Line Cinema’s Barbershop 3: The Next Cut on Wednesday night. The event was held at the TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX in Hollywood, California, and featured a number of the film’s stars on the red carpet.

Common portrays Rashad in the latest installment of the Barbershop franchise. The rapper was added to the cast last April after Cedric The Entertainer and Ice Cube also committed to returning to the set for another hilarious yet moving take.

“I think Calvin is really taking his place as the owner of the shop,” Ice Cube says of his character in the film. The actor also comments on the all-star cast that includes Regina Hall and Nicki Minaj. “All of them have punch to their character,” he shares. “[They all have] great things to contribute to the shop and to this movie.”
