Amandla Stenberg sat front row at the Marc Jacobs Fall 2016 fashion show during New York Fashion Week on February 18, 2016 in New York City. The teen actress wore a Marc Jacobs skirt and shirt from the spring collection, paired with sneakers to the coveted event.
New York will soon become home to Stenberg as she has decided to attend New York University in the fall. Earlier this week, the 17 year old revealed her college plans to her Instagram followers. She wrote as a caption to a new selfie, “ur lookin at an NYU film student.”
The Hunger Game star has been open about her passion for film. “I think actions speak louder than words,” she recently told NYMag.com. “I’m really passionate about film. I want to be a film director and create roles for women of colour because there is such a glaring lack of adequate roles.”
