Kyrie Irving has entered the world of parenthood. The Cleveland Cavaliers player shared news of his daughter’s arrival with Instagram fans earlier this week.
“Azurie Elizabeth Irving 11/23/15,” shared the star. “35 hours of labor from her great mother and she came into the world to bring a shine to my world that I never thought was possible. I love you so much, and my heart grew the first time I felt your heart against mine. Mommy, I gave her your name because I know you will bless her and our family the same way you blessed me. I love you.”
Kyrie began playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2011. He took a break from his collegiate studies at Duke University to play for the NBA but promised his father that he would finish his undergraduate career within five years. Azurie is Kyrie’s first child.
