Dondre Whitfield, Salli Richardson and the kids are inspiring the masses. The family stopped by the 2015 Mega Fest this past weekend to encourage attendees to get on board with Michelle Obama’s ‘Let’s Move’ campaign.
“Inspiring families with my family and @bishopjakes family #MegaFest15,” shared Dondre along with a picture of his family holding signs that promoted healthy living and other positive things in life. Dondre and Salli held signs that read, “I’m Inspired” while the kids showcased posters that had different sayings on them.
This year’s Mega Fest was certainly inspiring. Bishop TD Jakes served as host of the Dallas event, and Dondre was one of the speakers.
Many attendees enjoyed the five day community gathering and shared their delight with media. “I feel very empowered,” said one guest. “I was looking for a breakthrough, looking to hear a good word from [Dallas-based bishop and event organizer] T.D. Jakes and all the people that came out to speak to the women.”
Salli was also motivated by the conference. “#MegaFest15 has been an amazing experience .@inspirebyml,” shared the actress. She and Dondre are the proud parents of a son, Dre, and daughter named Parker.
